The main characteristics of our Universal Milling and Boring Machines and Machining Centers are their quality, their rigidity and consequently their long service life and consequently their stable value. Like everything, our machines, too, are subject to a certain wear. Within the scope of a Retrofit we check particularly stressed components/units, like milling head, spindle headstock and the guideways. Our experts know exactly what to do and rework the corresponding components, and – in extreme cases – they even exchange them, which gives, after a general overhaul – a machine in mint condition, ready to serve for the next 15 – 20 years.
These precise overhauls increase the reliability of the machine, extend the operating life and maintain the (trade-in) value.
