Assembly Y and Design of X-, Y- and Z- Axis
Machine chassis is filled with composite polymer concrete and enables a dynamic and vibration-isulated movement of the X-Axis. A cost insentive foundation is not necessary. Gantry-type column is mounted with three linear guides at the machine frame and assure therefore a high precision machining.
Machine Column Y-Axis
Column is a welded construction with linear guides. Two linear guides assure the transmission of metal removing rates with highest quality. Column is proteced against chips and water with lamellae curtains.
Headstock carriage and headstock
The head stock is a GGG 60 cast iron construction with hydraulic counter weight, at the column with 2 hardened linear guides. Spindle stock also made of GGG 60 cast iron, with two opposed slide ways. Long guidings lead to the machine colum and the spindle stock and grant highest force transmissions at a constant quality. In order to avoid a tilting of the column, the Y and Z Axis are arranged as close as possible
Digital feed drives for accurate working with AC-motors with constant torque, feed and rapid feed range continuous for the X-, Y-, and Z-Axis from 2 – 30.000 mm/min. acceleration in all axes 2 m/s².

Collision Monitoring System 1-Channel
Collision monitoring system monitors machine and, conditionally, tool collisions.
A piezo force sensor measures all deformations during machining. The monitoring device analyzes the signals.
Channel 1 Collision:
Channel 1 can be programmed manually from the operator thru the whole machining process. The operator can adjust the deformation stop point. If the deformation value detected by the piezo force sensor is higher than the programmed value, the machine stops immediately. This gives prevention of damage following a collision in the event of program, set up or user error.
3-dimensional, signal transmission via integrated radio wave transmitter. For automatic tool change or manual change. Suitable among others to determine part length and the zero points of the part in horizontal and vertical position.
